Can you believe it’s time to start thinking about your summer viola plans again? (Let’s just ignore that snow falling in Beaverton today and declare spring almost here, mmkay?)
There are some excellent opportunities for Oregon violists of all ages, including the Chamber Music Camp of Portland.
More camp and festival information coming soon!

Hello! My name’s Brianna Richardson. I’m an undergraduate music student at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA. I’m conducting a survey on setup for violinists and violists as part of my senior thesis. It’s fairly brief and only takes about 10-15 minutes to complete. If you feel comfortable forwarding this email to your students and colleagues, it would be very helpful for my project. Thank you for your time and assistance!
To take the survey, please click on the following link or paste it into your web browser: http://www.zoomerang.com/Survey/?p=WEB228HZRFQLYN
Please forward this email to friends, colleagues, teachers, and students who play violin and viola. Your assistance is greatly appreciated! Questions or comments regarding this survey may be directed to brichardson@ups.edu.

Strong Readers Needed
The composition department at Lewis & Clark College could use some violists to help read student compositions from time to time. If you enjoy reading contemporary parts and are interested in brand new small ensemble or solo works, email Michael Johanson: johanson@lclark.edu
You could be the first person to read the next John Cage’s premier viola piece!
